In many cases, these fabrics are also available in grey, which strikes an ideal balance between gain, color rendering, contrast ratio, and the ability to be less noticeable on dark stages. The bright white surface of many of these fabrics offers high gain and wide viewing angles, but can be difficult to mask in a dark environment.
